Title: “Falling Up” by Shel Silverstein

Paraphrase: The poem talks about a boy tripping on his shoelace but instead of falling down he falls up, up to the roof and he was up from his town and goes until mountains until he falls down.

Attitude: The poem is again meant for children, there are many book copies of it and it is available anywhere.

Shift: The shift in the poem comes from the boy being happy and excited and then until he trips on his shoelaces.

Opinion: I don’t really like this poem because of how he comes up into the sky because of his shoelaces

Recommendation: I recommend this to people who like crazy story that cannot happen in real life
