Title: ‘’Messy room’’ By Shel Silverstein Paraphrase: It talks about a man talking at a room being so dirty and badly made, but at the end he finds out that it is his own room. Attitude: It is funny and childish for the man to see his own room but talking bad about it Shift: The shift in this poem isn’t very big and it is when he changes emotion, from angry at the room to laughing and happy at the room when he reveals its his own room. Opinion: I like it because it is funny and how it turns out to be his room, and that he doesn’t clean his room. Recommendation: I recommend this poem if you want to laugh at funny stuff and you want to relax while reading.
Title: “Everything on It” By Shel Silverstein Paraphrase: I It talks about was a bad idea because It came with a parrot, a bee in a bonnet, a wristwatch, a wrench, rake, a goldfish, a flag, a fiddle, a frog, a front porch swing, a mouse in a mask, and it was the last time he asked for a hotdog with everything on it. Attitude: It is childish just like every other one but this one is kind of funny. Shift: The shift in this is when the guy buys a hotdog with everything, but then regrets it. Opinion: I really like this one this one because it is funny when he gets everything hotdog. Recommendation: You will really like this poem if you have humor and laugh easily

Attitude: The poem is again meant for children, there are many book copies of it and it is available anywhere. Shift: The shift in the poem comes from the boy being happy and excited and then until he trips on his shoelaces.
